before you chuck it, I'd try a cleaning disc to see if it's just dust accumulation on the laser lens.
I did use an ALLSOP cleaning disk with solvant. Any other ideas? [email protected]
Provided it's not a problem with the DVD , it could be a motor issue, failing or misaligned laser, etc.
Given the price point of the player, it's not worth fixing. You'd be better off replacing it.
