Check first and make sure your Closed Caption is not turned on, If that is turned off. You have an intermittant problem in the vertical driver circuit. It could be as simple as a bad solder connection on the vertical output IC or one of the shaping capacitors could be going bad. Also could be the vertical output IC is going bad. I have the same problem on a Toshiba 50H12 I have the service manual but i can't locate the Vertical output IC. what should I be looking for?
