I just purchased my Tom Tom, 3rd Edition, and am already extremely frustrated with it. It keeps locking up and turning off as its calculating a new route. Of course, there is no phone number to call in the US for any kind of help. Any suggestions as to what I can do to correct?

The first thing I'd do is check TomTom's website for any software or firmware updates. GPS makers like TomTom and Garmin frequently release patches and fixes for their devices. For TomTom, you'll need to go here: http://www.tomtom.com/support/support.php?ID=3&Language=4
Download the TomTom Home software and use it to search and apply any updates to your unit.
