It could be the block or the flyback or even a horizontal drive circuit. Take the input wire from the flyback out of the block and keep it away from any parts or the metal chassis and see if the set will turn on. If it does, turn it off and replace the block. Be very careful with the HIGH voltage lead when it is taken out of the block. There is 32,000 volts there. To remove the wire from the high voltage block, slide up the rubber boot up the wire and while press in on the wire, turn it counter-clockwise. Good Luck
