I just bought a brand new Panasonic DVD Camcorder. I inserted the DVD, and plugged the camera into the AC Adapter, but nothing happens. I turn it on, and I can hear it beeping, and reading the DVD (DVD Ram), but nothing appears on the LCD Monitor, and I can't see anything in the view finder. This camera has a spot for a smart card as well. But I assumed that that is only for digital pictures. Am I wrong? It didn't even come with a smart card, and Panasonic's help line is always busy. Please help!! Thanks!
Make sure that you put the camera into record mode and not play mode when you turn it on. What kind of camcorder did you buy and are you sure that you put the right DVD media in it?
The smart card is probably only for digital pictures, not for video as you suggest.
