HI,ALL I NEED HELP WITH OLEVIA TV MODEL LT37HVS IT'S WORKING WELL YESTERDAY AND TODAY THE PICTURE ES TOO DARK..THE COLOR ,CONTRAST,BRIGHTNESS AND THE SET UP MENU WORK EXCELENT ....ANY IDEA ?MAY BE VIDEO SIGNAL IS BAD ?

First, a couple of questions.
1) With a TOO DARK picture on the screen, and you pull up the menu, is the menu itself the proper briteness, color, etc?
2) Is the picture TOO DARK regardless of the source? The same on cable(or dish), video input like a DVD, or on an input from a game- PS3 or Wii?
If the pix is TOO DARK on just one input, suspect that source or the wiring connecting that source, not the TV. Connect someting different to that input to verify. Although it can happen, it is rare for just one input to go bad on the set.
If the pix is TOO DARK on ALL SOURCES, but the menu is OKAY, it is a video processing error on the signal board of the TV. I believe this TV is a display and one board and repairs are made by board replacement. Bad news here.
