  Hello,i asked my partner to change channel as i disliked the chap that was on,and blow me down,the tv went into standby.She now blames me for no tv!I am an amusement arcade tech and work on all sorts of electronic and electro mechanical equipement,and in the past vectorbeam and various monitors(few yrs back).Anyway,standby,flashed once,stayed on.Got service manual,entered service mode via remote,led off and 16khz? whistle.Found lopt transistor 2SC5251,15 ohms between legs.Replaced,same fault initially,but when used remote,led stayed off and similiar high pitch noise,but no screen etc. checked transistor,blown again.I suspect lopt,or bits to be gone.Felt you techguys with your knowledge may advise me,and say "yep!" That's ... etc. Any advice much appreciated.Cheers!
