OK, I have done a search on the forum, and either missed the answer or it doesn't exist. My problem is the blue haze around everything. It started as misalignment where the blue was off to the left. The auto align would SOMETIMES fix it, but it would inevitably come back. Now it it looks like the convergence is aligned, but now there is the blue haze. After searching, the convergence board needs replacing. Is this one board all I need (BP95-00415C), or would it be better to replace the ICs? If so does anyone know the part number(s) for these?
Does anyone have the service manual I could get from them?
Thanks in advance.
The board you describe is the convergence sub board and does not have the convergence amp IC's on the board. The one you need is HERE. Thats the complete board with the high voltage transformer and cost just under 200 bucks. If you know how to solder really well, you can get the IC's for about 30 bucks, then you will need to buy a service manual so you can trace through the power supply for blown pico fuses or circuit protectors. If you have no solid state repair experience, play it safe and replace the entire board I found for you. Good Luck
Larry, thanks. I really appreciate it. I'll play it safe and get the whole board. I have read nightmare stories about just replacing the ICs/soldering. I plan on digging into it soon and I'll let you know how it goes.
Thanks again for replying so quickly.
What do you think about the part exchange on this site. Obviously I haven't had time to talk with them as to how it works, but it'd save me a good chunk of change, even if I bought it outright. Is the part in the link you sent OEM, or would they be of similar quailty of the ones on these sites?
I'd rather get OEM even if I have to pay a bit more, but if they're similar...

Thanks again.
You can certainly go that route if you wish. You can also have the board you have rebuilt by ptscorp.com for a lot less. Tristate repairs the boards as PTS does. You said in your first e-mail you wanted to replace the board and a lot of folks do just that. If you have it rebuilt, it should be just as good, or is it? MMM?? Used verse's new!?? I myself would simply replace the bad IC's and the pico fuses. for about 30 bucks.
model hcp4752wx samsung
i had same peoblem and i repalced the entire sub board and did not fix the problem.......blue still off.....and auto focus does not work......should i try replacing the convergence module???
or do you think the new sub board i bought coul;d have been defective?? i got it at partsstore.com
Does anyone have a manual that shows the connection schematics for the convergence board Samsung BP94-01266A?
Help!
The best advice I can tell you at this point is to go to TV repair kits.com and order the complete convergence kit for your model of TV set, click on here please: http://www.tvrepairkits.com/xcart/home.php?partner=larry
no need to search and order multiple parts from different sources and pay multiple shipping fees! The kit comes with original Sanyo STK ICÂ’S , not those cheap aftermarket or china made ICÂ’S full pictorial directions, the thermal paste, resistors, the correct Pico fuses, AND free live on-Line tech assistance in case you run into a problem with the repair. They ship out 2 to 3 day Priority mail, the next day in most cases,
turn down the blue screen control on the focus block
i know this is an old thread but, i had the blue haze with n RCA of mine. it was low coolant in the blue crt. its worth looking into. good luck.
I have a samsung DLP model# HC-P4752W and when i plug it in the power suple whistels and the tv makes a static sound. The red light next to the power button lights up steady but the tv will not power on, a repair shop wanted $1000 to put another power suply in it. Is the power suply really the problem and if so where could i buy one to replace myself?
