I have a panasonic DVD Home theatre system SC PT450 and I have tried all sorts to get the sound to come out of the speakers when watching Tv the two are connected by HDMI cable and audio cable as per the instructions but it still won't work, its fine using the radio or playing Dvds any suggestions? The TV is about 8months old and its a Philips HD with ambi light and built in freeview. There is nothing in the audio set up on the tv that allows me to alter output. The instructions aren't much help either
I am in the same situtation with my Panasonic SC-PT750. The sound seems to work just fine when the TV is first turned on but as soon as the picture shows up the sound disappears and I cant seem to get it back...
I have the SC PT450 to and mine is doing the same. A bit dissapointed really. I would really like all speakers to be working
Ok Guys, I have figured it out you need to hold the -eq / -srd enh button for 5 seconds or so while watching tv. This seems to copy the front speakers

Here is my problem, I have a 50 inch Panasonic DHD Plasma Television, Model TH-50PX60U and a cable box from my cable company for HD, Scientific Atlanta, Model 8300HD. I just purchased a Panasonic DVD Home Theater Sound System, Model SC-PT750. I have it wired up and can not get sound out of the Theater Sound System when watching a program on the TV. I get the sound fine when running a DVD disk and watching it on the TV. What might I be doing wrong?
