The above set has a pincushion problem. The pix is slightly hour-glass shaped. Bad cap? Also, for some reason C3240 appears to have been removed. Any ideas why? I don't have the service manual for this one. Thanks guys, Dan
Well, I get to answer my own posting... The missing cap was a 3.3Ufd @ 35V and its replacement cured the pincushion problem. Please note that the circuit designation was actually C3248. I found a similar chassis and found the correct piece. What remains a mystery is why the cap was missing in the first place.
Title should read Zenith not Magnavox. Working on too many at once here...
