Hello All: I have a Sharp microwave oven that seemes to work fine, IE light, turntable, fan, keypad, clock, and display, but will not heat a cup of water. Please help!!!
Thanks for the info! As a mater of fact the transformer and the magnetron are both shot! I believe the mag. went bad first and took out the transformer! The oven is about 10 years old and I found that replacement parts to repair it will cost too much so I will pitch it instead! I think I can replace the oven for less than the cost of the parts!
Could be a bad transformer somewhere, or a defective magnetron tube. How old is your microwave?
