I have connected the Samsung DVD/CD/Mp Player to my new OLI2600 LCD TV and the TV does not recognize the DVD at all. I also connected a VCR and it recognized it immediately. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Do I need to use an Rf modulator like I did on my old TV?

You only need an RF modulator if the TV does not have line level A/V inputs (yellow/red/white, etc.). Considering it is an LCD TV, I'm sure it has A/V (lowest quality), S-Vid (middle quality), and probably component video (best quality) as well.
Whichever you choose, you'll need to change the input of the TV to whatever jack you plugged the DVD player into. Look for a label near the jack. There should be a button on the remote to switch between the various inputs on the set.
