Hi there i wonder if anyone can help. i have a sony bravia KDLV40A12U lcd tv, the problem is in the top left corner where the av preset is displayed (the name of the scart inputs) this is stuck on all the time. it should only be on for a few seconds, like changing the channels, the name disappears after a moment. just wondering if there's anything i can do or should i phone the shop. hopefully ive described the problem ok. any help would be great, its really anoying. Look on your TV remote for a button labled "DISPLAY". Press that and the name of the input should disappear.
there's no button marked display, ive tried every button, every menu and pulled all the leads and replaced them but its still there. thinking i might have to phone the shop but its going to be a while since its nearly christmas. any other ideas would be much appreciated, thanks
You may need to navigate the menus a bit to find this. Basically, the set has defaulted to displaying the current state. There should be a menu option for this somewhere.
