The easiest way will be to obtain an external media reader for the kind of card your camera uses, which is probably CompactFlash. To use it, you take the card out of the camera and plug it into this reader, which in turn is connected to your mac. From the Mac file browser, you can navigate the card like another drive, and copy the AVI files to your Mac for playback.
