i bought a usb data cable, but it doesn´t work with my SGH e-316. In the web i found that the usb is used in the sgh e-315
i want to know if it possible to use this usb data cable or i need to buy the data kit cable.
i think that i don´t have the specific software for my cell

Nope. From what I've seen, looks like you need the data kit. Compare prices on Froogle, but it looks like you can pick one up for ~$60.
