i have a 2002 hitachi big screen hdtv and when you turn it on the power light flashes red and the picture wont come in. the tv is on you can hear that , but there is no picture
it makes the noise that all tv,s make when they are first turned on. that is the only time i can hear it, when i first turn it on, but you can hear that its on there is just no picture the power button on the front flashes red instead of turning to green. i dont know what it could be. thanks for the reply
The TV is not starting up. There is a power supply proplem. Do you have any TV repair experience. If not play it safe and call out a pro to assist you in the repair of this TV set.
Do you not know Internet etiquette? You do not shout at someone when asking for assistance, as that is considered rude!. Typing your response in all caps is considered shouting and is against the rules here on this web site. To your rude question. It is impossible to give an estimate without first looking at the TV set. I would guess it would be in the area of 300 to 500 bucks if the problem is not caused by a leaking picture tube onto the printed circuit board below it.
What do you mean "the tv is on you can hear that , but there is no picture" ? Is there sound? Or do you hear a high pictched noise?
