Panasonic HDTV trouble

I have a Panasonic HDTV model # CT-36HX42F that will not power on.  We were watching tv yesterday and it just went off.  I tried to turn it back on and the light came on and it sounded like it was going to turn on, but it immediately went off.  Them when I tried it again, it did nothing.  So, I tripped the breaker and tried it again.  It just did the same thing.  Any ideas?

we work on allot of that

we work on allot of that model here, it can be allot of different things in the power supply/deflection circuit. failing. in order to fix this one you will need to do some troubleshooting and soldering. One of the most common problem with these is a blown 6.3 a fuse, the fuse blows because of a timing issue in the degaussed circuit. an easy fix is to increase the fuse size to 7 amps. this usually will fix this problem. but the way you described the problem it is most likely not this problem. but you can check it.

Thank you.  I will give it a try.
