help wanted does anyone know of this make and model techwood lcd3211 ?
got a problem tv comes on put no picture or sound. got any ideas what it could be ?
when the tv comes on it starts with coulour going through the screen then after a while there are blocks of yellow and white from top to botom.

On these sets there is a couple of filter capacitors that go bad in the main power supply that causes this symptom in a few other makes of LCD TV sets. I would look up in the owners manual on where to contact for service, or go to the store where you purchaced the set from. Good Luck and please let us know how you made out.
still having no luck with this set. does anyone know where to get a service manual for it.

Have you tryed yet where you purchaced the set? They should know who services them.
yes i have tried its was purchest from currys belive techwood is thre own brand name. i have seen same tv with luxor badge on them but dont know who make the tv.

Ask the store manager who they get to service this brand as if it is a Badge TV set, there has too be someone who services it.

Im new to this forum and am looking for a little help,
I have just purchased off ebay a Techwood LCD 3211, the description said the screen would power up but no picture, took the back off it and No Power Supply!!!, the seller said he would give me a decent discount on my next purchase for my loss, now i need to identify what make model number the power supply had on it to get a replacement whether it be from another screen or from a retailer, can anybody help? or if anybody has a broken PSu they want to get rid of name your price.

hi mate, i was just wondering - when you opend the techwood 3211, did you see what panel it has in it, is the lcd panel made by samsung?.
