I have a 50" mitsubishi vs-45605 that just clicks on then immediatley clicks off. Is it worth repairing or am I better off buying a new set. I have a question about LCD or Plasma which one will last longer? From the little I have read LCD seems the better choice. Just wondering your thoughts and what brand you would recommend?

I like the DLP's or the Plasma TV sets, as I think they have a sharper and brighter picture. Just make sure you get that extended warranty with any TV set you buy now a days, as you should include a warranty with the budget of the TV set. These sets, cost a fortune to repair when they break down. protect your investment.
