I have an rca big screen about 7 years old it is shutting off by itself and every once in awhile it sounds like it is clicking on and off when i try to turn it on. Model pb290? Is there something i can do , maybe order a part for it??

Model number does not ring a bell. Is this set in the US? Double check the model number. i do not see it on my list.
I bought a 27' RCA Model # 27F500T only THREE WEEKS ago. Last night it started shutting itself off, I would turn it back on and it would shut off again. The local service centre made a few suggestions but they did not work. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do? Any suggestions? THREE weeks is too soon for problems...maybe I should have bought another brand?
If it is three weeks old, take it back, as these sets have expensive parts and a lot of them are not avaialble for replacement. let us know what you decided to do. Good Luck
