hi i have panasonic model number PT-50LC13 and every time i turn it on the power button on the tv flashes green for 5-10 minutes then it flashes red then turns off, after about 8 months it started flashing like this and how do i fix it? at one point i got it to come on after 2 hours of green flashing and i always kept it on so that wouldnt happen again but we had a power outage and im back fiddling with it so can someone help me?
Did you unplug the tv for 10-15 seconds and then plug it back in. It should work then. I would also suggest you have the tv plugged into a surge protector of some sort if you do not already have one. It sounds like the unit is going into a protect mode from surges.
I am suspecting the same thing because I too had a lighting strike the other day and it burned right thru my surge protector and fried my power supply in my TV (47in projection). My question is: "can I buy another power supply? and would I be able to install it myself?"
