Black and White picture after connecting Laptop to TV

Hi,

I am using my Dell D610 to connect to my Philips Magnavox TV using S-Video RCA cable but I am getting Black and White picture quality on my TV.

I tried all possible setting

Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advance --> Intell (R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver

--> Graphics Property but no luck.

Please help.

A black and white picture

A black and white picture when using S-video is often caused by a faulty s-video cable or a bad connection from the cable to the plug. Try wiggling the connection on each end and see if the color is sporadic, or try a different S-video cable all together. Worse comes to worse, try connecting another device via S-video to that same jack and see if you get color in case the jack is bad.

Try those things and post back.
