Hi I have a LG " 42px4dv .When I turn it on the red front light turns to green only for 2 to 3 seconds and then back to red . The tv stays off . Can some one tell me why and the foult with it . I really would like to know if it is worth to fix it or not .

Is anything connected to the tv or is the problem on all channels?
to be honest it sounds like your screen has gone. plasma's don't have a very long life. sorry but not much else i can say.

You've probably had a failure of either your X or Y sustain boards.
