I just purchased a brang new LG 42" LCD. Picture is great however recently watching a movie on my 1080 p dvd player I notices bright red tracers through the faces of the characters on the screen. I can figure out if it is my DVD player or a problem with the tv. Can anyone help?

How do you have the DVD hooked to the LCD tV?
I am using an HDMI cable.
Try hooking it up with the RGB jacks and see if you get the same effect.
