Last year I bought the RS2052 bookshelf radio and ever since it listens too all of my other remotes in very strange ways....source changes when you adjust the volume with cable remote and the volume gets really high. Using the up and down arrows on the cable remote adjusts the time that the timer goes off. This happens both when the unit is on and working and when it is off. I am not sure what to do since RCA has a very crappy website and they don't have any tech support.
Not alot you can do with problems like this. i have in the past had problems with some electronics, and what I did was to cover the remote sensor with black tape on my stereo and adjusted manually. No RCA does not have the best customer supprt network. good Luck with this.
