the main 5A fuse near the AC power cord blew. I replaced it and the TV comes back on but the picture is curved at the top and bottom of the screen and the convergence is way off. The picture is full width and sound it OK. The amount of "bow" in the top and bottom of the picture changes with the picture on the screen. Sometimes it is barely noticeable sometimes with a dark background it pulls in about ¼ of the screen. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Yes I do.  The convergence

Yes I do.  The convergence ICs went bad in your TV set.  These are two STK type convergence ICs.  Yjey are soldered into the printed circuit board.  If you have any type of experence on printed circuit boards and have some soldering experience, you can most likely save yourself some big bucks by repalcing the convergence IC's yourself.  If you do not have any circuit board or soldering experience, play it safe and call out a pro to assist you with this repair.  Good Luck, and let us know how you make out with this repair.
