i have a citizen dvd player. when i power it up, the screen on the tv is constantly rolling. i can kinda see that it says citizen...but the pictore keeps rolling and rolling...can you help me please?
How is the video from your DVD player connected to your TV? Is it with composite (yellow), S-video (round plug with pins), or component video (red/green/blue)?

its connected with a yellow wire (composite)
Okay, I have a few ideas, but I'll need a little more information before I can tell you what's going on.
First, I'll need to know the model number of the DVD player. And I'll need to know if it has worked in the past, or if it has never worked.
Second, I'll need to know the brand and model number of the TV.
With that info, I should be able to come up with something.
i actually emailed citizen and they told me how to fix it. apparently my daughter changed the setting from ntsc to pal. thanks for your help anyway.
