IHAVE A SONY KV-32TW77 TELEVISION AND THE RED LIGHT FLASHES AND THE PICTURE DOESNT COME ON FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES WHEN YOU FIRST TURN THE TV ON. AND THEN WHEN THE PICTURE DOES COME ON IT GOES BLACK FOR A MINUTE IN ABOUT 2 MINUTE INTERVALS AND IT WILL DO THIS COMING ON AND OFF ALL DAY LONG. DOES ANY ONE HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT THIS WOULD BE???

the light flashes constant for about 15 to 20 minutes then it stops and the picture comes on about 2 minutes after it stops blinking
This sounds like a bad capacitor in the sweep power supply or the main power supply. I think if you started measuring the voltages around the sweep or the mainm power supplies as soon as you turned on the set, you would probably find a lower voltage on one or more .

You might have a bad flyback,try resolder it ,and all aroud , or a tube that is going bad, try to rejuvenate it.
