I have a 55 inch tv, projection, that needs to be fixed. It looks like there is two images almost, do you know how i can fix this? Not sure... tell me advice, please!
Well first a model number and the make of the TV set would be needed. Your problem sounds like you have a convergence problem. This convergence board or IC's will most likely need to be changed out. This will involving taking the set apart, removing and replacing the convergence board, getting a service manual and doing the convergence alighnments. If the convergence board is not available, you will need to locate the two convergence IC's, unsolder them from the printed circuit board, buy new IC's, apply heat sink compound on the backs of the new IC's, install the new IC's back into the printed circuit board, resolder the IC's, and get the service manual and perform the convergence alighnments on the TV set. I highly advise you to call in a pro to assist you if you have no TV repair experience. Good Luck, and let us know how you make out with this TV set.
This would mostly depend on the model make and how old the set is. Most repairs for convergence repairs fall in between the $250.00 range to $400.00 range.
