Hi i Have A Naiko N2866, I turned it on from standby this morning, it was on for about 5 mins untill it turned itself off, now all it does when i try and turn it on is make a tripping sound but it is completely dead, no standby light or anything else just the tripping sound, has it seen the end of its days or can this be repaired?
you have a sweep or main power supply problem. The fact that you hear a clicking sound tells you that there is power going into the set and that the standby power supply is working. You will need to get the manual and see where you are loosing the voltage and if you do not have the test equipment or electronic solid state repair experience, I highly adise you to call in a pro to assist you in this TV repair. Also if the TV set is more then 8 to 10 years old, you would be putting money into bad, as this set will be a money pit. Good Luck and let us know if you had the set repaired.
