Hi,
I got this HDTV LCD and I have only used it probably 4 times and a couple of nights ago, I tried to turn it on by using my remote control and it is not responding to the remote, I turned it on manually and it is not turning on. Unplugged the TV and turned it off by using the switch on the side. And turned it on again. After a few tries of doing the same thing, it finally turned on but the screen was not blue but my whole screen had vertical lines. Does this means that my TV is dead already when it is only 3 months old and barely used? or is there any way of fixing this without sending it all the way to California?
Please help me
You better get it to the warranty before it expires, this things can't be fix but by authorized dealers, what you have is related video drivers that went bad, i wonder why? maybe you bought a set with long ours running maybe on the dealers show display, then maybe you got a good deal, but bad luck with it, im just guessing correct me if i'm wrong.
I guess that is my only choice then. there is no point of calling them btw the model number of is ML32HLT21 and it is 32. That is so disappointing though.
I saw a another Maxent owner complaining somewhere else that he was going to have to send his Plasma to CA because they couldn't find anyone to work on it.
Best Buy sold them but they had little success getting parts for them. You're now about to learn why those "low cost, entry level" Plasma sets costing hundreds to a thousand less than the name brands Aren't such a good deal after all.
Unfortunately, this was a gift and cant be really picky.. and your right i can seem to find anyone to fix it, unless i have a US address so i can send it back to have it fixed.
Thanks for the info.
