55 inch mits. rear projection when I turn it on the power light comes on for about 3 seconds then goes off . The tv never comes on. For a few weeks I was Getting a blue/green shadow on the picture. I could kick the floor and the picture would get clear. Turned the tv off thus night, and hasn;t came on since. I get an error code of 22 when i hit the devix-menu buttons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This could be a number of problems. The coolent in the picture tubes could be leaking out, and onto the printed circuit boards and damaged them, could be bad capacitors in the main power supply or in the sweep supply, could be a power regulation problem , or maybe a high voltage sweep problem. If you have no solid state repair experience, play it safe and call in a pro to assist you in this repair. Good Luck, ans let us know if you got the TV repaired.
