I have a Canon ZR10 Camcorder - and see that it has a IEEE 1394 interface - so I've order the cable for it - as my computer (Desk Top) has 1394 input on it! My questions - Can I capture copy/move the video from the camcorder over to my computer - like I would with a card reader device? or do I need special software to do this?
The Cannon site says there is software that should have come with the camcorder but if you need it, it is available HERE as a free download. good Luck and let us know how you made out with this camcorder.
Got it - and it works great - Downloaded directly to my Desk Top PC via the IEEE 1394 interface.. Thanks for the info and assistance on this...
Great! Thanks for getting back to us.
Hi Larry,
I have a Canon Elura 60 that intermittently rejects a new miniDV cassette cartridge with the error message "Remove the cassette" on the viewer display. It's very frustrating; sometimes it accepts cassettes. I haven't used it for months now due to this problem. Any advice or repair instructions available? Thanks ([email protected]) - Michael
