LG Voyager Review

Let me start off by saying that LG makes fantastic products. I owned a Chocolate and it was a great phone; lasted two years. In the case of the Voyager I must say that LG has out-done themselves. There are so many awesome features about this phone. I'll review them by category:

Touch Screen: The touch screen is amazing, it works better than anything I've seen so far; I have yet to hit a button and something else happens. The only potentially negative thing about the touch screen is the possibility of getting scratched or cracking later on down the road; so I applied a PSP screen protector to it in order to prevent any such damage.

Menu: The menu is simple and easy to use. You can either go through the menu with the touch screen or you can utilize the full keyboard inside. Either way the menu is great and easy to use, anyone could figure it out in an hour's time.

Stability: This phone has great features, but the main thing I look for in a phone is stability. What I mean by this is the all-around strength and structure of the phone. The Voyager itself is nice and sturdy and just holding it in my hand gives me the confidence that it won't smash into a million pieces if I drop it once or twice. Again, the screen is the only thing to be cautious of, and a properly fitted screen protector will clear those worries right up.

Extras: The extras are great! With a full keyboard small features like tex tmessaging and the calculator are easier than ever.

Unfortunately, no games come on the phone right out of the box, and that's always kind of disappointing.

It's capable of storing an 8-gigabyte meory card and has a 2-megapixel camera (which takes some pretty darn good pictures for a phone-camera). As a Verizon product you also have the option of their exclusive V-Cast television service, which comes in nice and clear thanks to an extendable antenna which might also come in handy when searching for a signal in those remote areas. And of course it has the usual featurettes: Bluetooth ready, mp3 player, and Internet access.
