Question:

I just bought a PalmOne III, and I need to download a Pharmacy Drug Guide on it. Is the PalmOne III windows compatable, and if so should the software download okay. Oh by the way, how do you go about downloading onto a PDA? I'm new at this. Thanks.

Answer:

The first thing you need to do is download the Palm Desktop Software for either Windows or Macintosh, depending on what you use.

Once that is installed, you can tranfer programs to the Palm by dragging the program you wish to install to the "Install" icon to the left of the screen. Or, you can tell the software which program you want to install, and then do so by beginning a HotSync transfer.

Once you have the desktop software installed, you should be able to figure it out in no time.
