Brando iPod Audio System

For those times when you don't want to listen to your iPod (or other device) through headphones, you need a small speaker set like the iPod Audio System from Brando's Workshop. These battery powered (3 AA's not included) speakers take up little space on your desk, but have big sound.

Hardware Specs
Frequency response : 100Hz ~ 20KHz
Input impedance : >10k ohm
Signal to noise ratio : >80dB

Made of white plastic to match white iPods, this speaker set is compatible with the iPod mini, 4th generation iPods and 5th gen models including the nano and video iPod. Don't fret if you don't have an iPod, this speaker set can be used with any audio device by plugging one end into the included audio cable into the line in jack on the back of the speaker and the other end into the earphone jack of the audio device.

Two dock adapters are included to allow for different sized iPods to sit properly in the speaker dock. There is also a flat plate that you can use when you're not using an iPod at all.

The speaker base has a small red power LED on the front and volume - / + buttons. The back has the line in jack, iPod USB cable connector for syncing and charging, AC adapter in jack (the adapter is not included), and Power on/off switch.

I wasn't expecting much from this little speaker set, but was pleasantly surprised at their sound quality. I didn't even want to turn them up as loud as they could go, because they were just too loud. These speakers would work great in a small office or bedroom as they have big sound with a small footprint.

As far as battery life goes, I've yet to go through my first set of AA's. I have listened to a few songs every day for over a week. It is a shame that an AC adapter isn't included wit this set. I supposed you could use a generic one as it will accept 5V 500mA.

All in all I really like this little speaker set. The only way I'd improve it is to include an AC adapter.
