Several months back I posted an inquiry with reference to my Sony KV-32XBR400 television and its sudden failure to "boot" up when turned on. With no replies suggesting solutions we decided to go for the repairs considering age and current price for comparable unit. $582.00 for parts(exchanged) and labor on a less than 5 year old unit. We were told it was one of the main boards which was not repairable in the shop. For another $175. I could keep the board. No thanks! So be aware, a $900. unit today could become a $1500. unit in less than 5 years.
