Receivers and Audio Components

My Mits WS-55807 just die out and showing and error code 2-1, it seems that is the X-Ray protect error.  anyone have experience on how to fix that problem?

I have the service manual but cannot locate specific steps of how to fix the issue, any help are highly appricated.

The standby button on my system refuses to allow me to turn the system on. Despite using the remote, manual buttons, auto play, etc. NOTHING gets the unit turned on. I haven't used it for a while due to other music systems , but I just tried to turn the thing on this evening to listen to some Joe Walsh, and it's dead. I really like this compact system, and I've had it 5 years. Please advise if you can. Diolch.

Rs 2640 stereo system after five years suddenly stopped working. On all of the sources (fm Radio,am Radio, cd player, tape player) it just produced a buzzing noise. I looked this up and it seems to be a common problem with these units. There was ONE suggestion that apparently worked for a few people, and that was to replace the q401 transistor with an NTE382. When I took it apart and looked at the circuit board, the Q401 seemed to have had a darkened area around it, like a little explosion occured.
