Need help Element 32" and RCA Home Theater

Hello...hope someone can help.  We purchased the Element 32" TV, model #FLX-3202 from Home Depot (someone told me it is actually made by Panasonic?).  We hooked it up to the RCA Home Theater model # RTD258 (5 disc changer, 5 speakers, etc from Target).  When watching regular TV, the sound does not come out of the home theater speakers, only out of the TV built in speaker (which is pretty lousy).  When playing a CD or watching a DVD, the sound is no problem and comes out of the home theater speakers.   The red and white audio cables are in the back of

Hello,

I've had my JVC TV for close to 5 years.  Recently I've been seeing more RED showing through (Only on the left side).  Local repairman says $400.00 to repair my problem.  Is their a power supply or some conversion kit that i can purchase and install myself??  Does anyone have PN#'s or purchase locations??

Please help!!

Cable Installation Problem

I attempted to install cable to a TV in our kitchen. I have cable in several other rooms of the house which I have installed myself. This time, however, although I have installed it, I cannot get cable stations on the TV. In fact it goes to channel 91 right away. I have tried two different cables, changing the cable to a connector to the cable box in the attic that I know functions for another room, setting the TV from the menu mode, and setting it for cable.
