Toshiba 42H83 problems..

First time caller, long time listener...

I did see that there was a post with my model up, and I didn't want to jack his thread so...

I got this TV real cheap, and it is wonderful. I only had one problem, picture was too tall. For example: the picture would cut of a little bit of the bottom of the scroll on ESPN HD. I wanted to adjust that. I purchased a service manual of the web, which said that a 50H82 manual was identical.

Philips Magnavox No Picture

My Magnavox started showing Green and Blue Lines in between the Picture going white  and the Picture would narrow Horizontally for 3-5 minutes before adjusting to fit the Television Screen.  Now I have no Picture and the Screen is just Black.  The light comes on to let me know that it has Power.  The Model is a 9P6031C102 and the Chasis is a PTV835.   I believe this is a 60inch TV.  I bought it used and it's a rear Projection Television.

Toshiba BLUE convergenence is WAY out

Trying to converge a Toshiba
TP48C71
big screen projection TV. On the grid, RG are converged but blue is way out- like 2 inches, and the front control barely even moves it.

I pulled the main convergence board PB3366-1 and  I see nothing obviously wrong with it. I think the CONVER OUT board, PB3366-2 may be the problem though- its the one with the 2 big heat sinks.

TV HAS NO POWER

Hello,

My 60 " projecton has no power.  The power from the outlet to the fuse appears ok.  What do you suggest?

Panasonic plasma problem

twice in the last two days, the same problem has happened.  I have a Panasonic 42 inch plasma ( TH42PX50OU) purchased in June 2005.  I turn the TV on using the remote.  The red power light comes on, but there's no picture, no sound, nothing.  I try using the remote control to change inputs (cable, satellite, DVD), but I can do nothing.  I use the buttons on the TV to try and change channels, nothing.  I unplugged the TV, leaving it off for a minute.  When I plug it back in and turn it on, it works fine.
