Television and Home Theater

Looking closely, they look like figure 8's from the bottom to the top. You cannot see well unless whatever is on is a night setting or on video 1,2,3 etc.. Whatever you could do to help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a KP-46wt500 Sony television MD# 9015020 and I am having problems with blue vertically arched lines. When the channel has a bright screen they are hard to see, however, if the channel is a dark setting or a movie that is based at night they are visible, if I put it on video 1,2,etc you can see really well...HELP

I am in the process of staying a new TV.  Can anybody can me the lowdown about the brands Ilo, Insigna, or GFM.  I am looking to buy a new 27".  I am not wanting to spend around $250.  Would appreciate any input that anybody has.
