Television and Home Theater

looking for a service manual for rca projection 46 inch....the color flickers balck and white and noone know i guess, so a service manual would help me try and figure it out better then what i have been trying.... 

Hi, my 10-year old Sony 46" projection TV has developed 2 problems in the last few days:

1. It take it about 1 minute to power up - used to take about 20 seconds

2. Picture is not nearly as bright as before.  Colors are toned down.  Tried adjusting brightness,color, contrast, etc. to no avail.

 What could be the cause and what would avarage repair bill be?

we own a 55 inch sharp big screen tv. model# 55rwp4h was manufactured in april 2001. when viewing the color in the picture is distorted looks flourescent rainbow colors what could be causing this once it went to black and white after. please anyone help me
