Television and Home Theater

My monitor keps flashing black and then back to normal. Sometimes it does it a few times in a row and other times it doesn't do it for a while. It also seems to change the colour of fonts and borders sometimes and also text is sometimes highlighted when it shouldn't be.

T.v. powers up but no screen.I was told by repair shop that it needed  power supplies.I do not have a schematic for this set and have no luck finding schematic.Can any one provide some suggestions? Any help would be appreciated. The t.v. model #is VS-70VF2

Need some help on troubleshooting. T.V. has no sound or picture. When I plug in rca cables I only get sound. I was told that it was the high voltage deflection board part #awv1383. Can anyone help me out with this. Thank you.
