Colour distorted on my television

Hello all, i would be grateful for any advise any one could give to me.

I am trying to decide whether it is worth me getting my Sony FD Trinitron television repaired (Model no- KV-29LS30U)

The stand-by indicator is flashing 5 times then breaking for about 10 seconds before it starts flashing again. I have been told that this could indicate that one of the components has failed in which case the circuit board may need replacing. I would appreciate a rough estimate on price please

Hitachi 50SBX78B problems

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some help with a projection tv Hitachi 50SBX78B. The red power light comes on when plugged in but that's it, no sound or picture. On the chip board there are about 8 led's that all light up but one is very dim almost not lit at all. This led is marked D940 +B 120v. I haven't been able to locate a service manual and really don't want to screw up this tv as it's a pretty nice 50" television. Can anyone help me out at all?

Went dead on me.  At power on, I can hear relays click and a green led on one of the PCBs is "on" when Powered on.  No audio, no picture.  Am waiting on schematics.  Any ideas where I need to start???

GB5108 Apex 51" projection TV no picture, blue screen, wavy lines

TV was on and suddenly the picture went out, it's just a blue screen with wavy lines and no sound, the power light is amber indicating it's on standby, when it was working properly the light would be red indicating it was working. now the light just stays amber. please help.

I have a jvc AV-32d303

After warming up for about 5 minutes the color goes and only black and white images are left.

Any thoughts ?

Mitisubiti W-46809 TV HD Problem

  I have a Mitisubiti WT-46809 TV I want to have dishnetwork with HD channels. Now i`am being told that I have to buy this Promise module for $200.00 before my tv will be able to display HD. the tv says 1080hd right on the front of it.

S hould`nt the dishnetwork receiver be all that I need?
