Television and Home Theater

This is on a mitsubishi VS 4502R.

 Anybody know how to remove that panel? I'm trying to find the "electronic focus" thing because my blue is pretty fuzzy.  There are two horizontal panels below the control strip under the screen.. The top horizontal strip looks like it should pop off by hitting it from the left side of the tv.. at least as far as I can tell from prying the crack open with a screwdriver and lookin in with a flashlight... the speaker grill itself I think may need to come off second.. 

I have a Phillips tv model # 20PT6441/37. Every time we turn on the tv we have to use the tv remote to turn off the closed caption. The remote works, it turns it off but evertime we turn it back on, we have to turn the closed caption off. It worked fine for a year and suddenly starting acting this way. Any suggestions? Thanks.

When I turned on my TV, I heard a small pop sound and there was no picture just black screen. The sound is fine. I turned it off and on and also tried to unplug it and there is still no picture. I cannot bring up the menu screen. I can change the channel but the channel number is not displayed. For some channels, I can see the some scan lines ( not full screen) on the black screen. I can hear the high pitched sound and also can see the glow of CRT. I was able to feel static of the front screen but I can't get it now. Any ideas about what could be possible problems?
