Television and Home Theater

I have wavy red lines and a bit of shadowing on my Tv i have a little bit of electronics knowledge and by researching the problem have discoverd i have a red convergance problem. where do i find the IC chips in the Tv how do i get them out and where do i find new ones can you help me PLEASE!!!!! i dont want to get ripped of by a TV repair shop but Im not confident i can fix the problem without ruining the television either any advice????

I've a Mitsubishi VS-60805 (7yrs old) whose picture becomes distorted and eventually blacks out. When i turn the TV off and on again the picture comes back but only for 5min and than gets distorted and pitch black again. I can still hear the sounds though. anybody got manuals or knows what's wrong and how i can fix it. is it the convergence boards? if truly so where are those boards w/ STR...numbers located near/on the hotbed. and before i really dig into it what should i look for/do in order to fix them.

My Mitsubishi WS55909 has been working fine for over 5 years. We had a power outage lasting 3 days. When power was restored we get the never ending blinking green light. Pressing reset has no effect. I was wondering if it could be the capacitors on the DM board. I realize there could be several possibilities. If anyone has instructions on a possible fix for this model along with a service manual, it would be greatly appreciated.
