Television and Home Theater

When I turn the tv on the relay clicks and I get a blue screen with CATV3 mono on screen. About 1 second later the screen turns a light blue with lines and then no screen at all as if I turned the set off. It's about 2 years old. I could use some advise on trouble shooting and repair. Thanks lightning

I have a Rear Projection TV, 50EX16B, Chassis AP52, I have replaced the STK4274 (3) due to convergence problems. There was a startup problem so I replaced I901 (STRM6511) and all is fine. What I have now is all 5 Green LED's on indicating that all circuits are fine but the Red protection LED is on as well.

I have a pioneer projection tv SD533HD5.  When I watch football the grass is not green, though the resolution is good. After removing the back cover I discovered that the middle lens (green) was not illuminated. Is this a straightforward repair the average  person can do?
