Television and Home Theater

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I would like to present my television fault and get your take on what the problem might be. First my Mitsubishi large screen is a 35" picture tube television. The model number is CK-35304, manufactured in 1994. I was told by a repairman that it was not worth repairing based on it's age. The problem was the screen went black, there is no picture. The audio works as advertised, there is no visual picture. It has been trouble free up until the morning I went to turn it on when the screen was black.

I have a Sony KV-X2982U TV which is permanently stuck in Standby. The Standby light stays on and does not flash. If I use the remote to switch the set on, the light goes out for a second, then the set goes back into Standby by itself before any picture appears. It started to go wrong by sometimes switching into Standby by itself when operating normally. Now it is permanently in Standby. Any suggestions, please?

I have a Mitsubishi WS-55511 rear projection TV that just stopped functioning yesterday.  The TV was on and suddenly powered itself off.  The little green light flashes continuously at this time.

I have tried:

Trying to reset - nothing. 

Powering off for several hours and trying to reset - still blinking.

Researching the threads on this site - everyone else's light goes off...

I am not an electrician/engineer, but am asking the audience of experts here for a hand.
