I'm getting close to heaving it in the trash and this may be my last hope.

I have a Durabrand TV model # DBTV1020. The original remote is gone and the set locked while trying to program a Philips CL034 remote with the search mode. I tried an RCA remote CRCU600MS and had no luck with that either. I currently have a blue screen with a red lock and only the power button works. I left it unplugged for a week and there was no change.

I am new here hope not doing this wrong. I have a ws-55511. I recently was watching regular Tv , i went to menu and switched it to the DTV(HD) using the OTA antenna! It has worked great till yesterday!! IT shut the tv off and it took me forever to get back into the tv to get it to switch back to satellite. I tried it again.. trying to watch HDTV and it shut the tv off again, other than the HD not working the TV works on other devices well! I am wondering if like the others it is the DM board? and the other things you have mentioned

We have the same problem with the blinking light.  We tried unplugging it for a while, and hitting the reset button.  It will not power on.  Could we, please, get some help?  Thank you!!

Screen blacks out Mitsubishi WS-55813

After watching TV for 2 hours, screen on SAT input (DVI) starts horizonal roll. Switch inputs and find black screen on ANT-A, Component 1 (DVD) and DTV input from SAT. Turn off and on, works fine for 10-15 min and problem returns. Turn on next day and problems returns again after 2 hours.

After reading several other posts in this forum I have come to the conclusion that the IC Chips and/or resistors are bad.

I am going to attempt to repair the TV myself since I cannot afford to have a professional do it.

I am a computer repair guy and this will be the first time I am ever trying to repair a television.

I know how to solder and do other electronic stuff.

I have looked at the board and got the numbers off the IC chips, they are STK392-560.
