What will be the reason for a plasma TV will show different colours fo plain screen, say green, red etc:-, and which board must be suspected to?

Hi, my projection tv Hitachi 51F59 one day my sister used the remote control to watch the tv, soon she turned on the tv, the tv turned black and no sound.  Is this meant the tv totally dead or still able to fix it? I download a manual, it said the screen got black out due to the front panel got locked.  Is there anyone able to tell me how to unlock the front panel or reset the front panel.  I followed all the instructions to unlock the tv, but it doesn't work.  I would appreciate if anyone knows how.

well, i'm kinda new here, haven't seen any recent threads on the Mits WD52725 DLP so i'd thought i'd start one. this set was donated to me and came with the dreaded BGLOD syndrome. if anyone has anything to add to this thread then please feel free to chime in. oh, this repair project is more of a learning experience for this 15 year windows/pc techie
